Sunrise Bay comprises a residential development that offers a total of 357 stands on ± 88 Hectares. The township application process has been completed and stands have been registered in the PMB deeds offices. Internal services and infrastructure are mostly complete. The infrastructure is complete on phase 1 & 2 and 70% complete on phase 3 & 4. Sites/Stands are fully and partly serviced for a residential development consisting of 342 remaining residential stands. All sites/stands will form part of the residential gated development extending from the R61 to the sea. The DFA approval is granted. 36 Hectares will be allocated as a conservation area.
Sunrise Bay is well located within Shelly Beach with good access to all major routes as well as the N2 National Highway. The Development has direct access onto the R620 (Marine Road) and some of the stands within the development offers good distant sea/horizon views. The Development is located on the north west periphery of Shelly Beach. Shelly Beach is mainly a residential suburb but has seen an increase in suplly of retail and office accommodation. This increase is a result of the numerous residential developments in the area. One such retail development is the South Coast Mall which is set at the Shelly Beach off ramp from the R61.
