The farm is fully fenced with Bonn ox game fencing and the farm has over 160 head of game including, Eland, Zebra, Red Hartebeest, Blesbuck, Springbuck and Ostriches. The farm is situated on a very quiet stretch of the Vaal with large amounts of bird life including, Pelican, Flamingos, Herons, Fish Eagles, Goliath Herons, Darters, Yellow Billed Ducks, Egyptian Geese and large flocks of Spurwing Geese.
When the dam level drops to +- 80% an island which forms part of the farm appears and hundreds of bird nest on this island. The "Sasol" bird counters often visit the farm to count the birds.

The farm also has a small enclosure, with a pond, which are home to 3 Emu's, more geese and several tortoises.
The farm has the right to pump water out of the dam for the irrigation of Lucerne.
