The quest house also boast a conference room for 100 delegates and a chapel for any requirements from both the community and corporate clients. The outside garden is in outdated with requests to hold functions and wedding ceremonies. This in turn fits well with hospitality training that can be offered as all catering requirements will be provided or by students//employees of the guest house.
HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM
The Guest House has enjoyed a successful run over the past 7 years and this was attributed to humility, market intelligence and sound management of the business. Some of the yearly activities include the following

The above provide substantial revenue during the period of these events and normally it is fully booked throughout peak seasons.
The tourism aspect of the location also proved beneficial over the years with guests as far as Germany coming for the Lutheran Heritage site in Bothsabelo whilst they relax and enjoy the facilities that the guest house has to offer.
The Doornkop community and other surrounding areas have a number of households and accommodation business that normally would go into Middelburg to buy their Fresh produce. The available arable land presents a great opportunity to develop an agricultural project that could easily supply its produce to the surrounding community while also servicing the guest house
