The Sands is a new development at the top end of Wavecrest, Jeffreys Bay. All stands are level and easy to build on. The same building regulations apply to this area as for the rest of Jeffrey’s Bay. Close to the mall, other shops and all the schools. Jeffrey’s Bay is in the process of building a new high school, which will be opening its doors in 2015. The private school in Jeffrey’s, Global Academy, are also in the process of starting to build a high school. Jeffreys Bay is famous for the Supertubes surfing spot, and now we can also boast with our own wind farm. The Billabong International surfing tournament is to return to Jeffreys Bay this winter season bringing back all the international surfers to this area. Not only that, but Jeffreys Bay now has its very own Winter Festival, with all sorts of surfing, fishing and other boarding events to look forward to. The festival will be running from 10th - 20th July 2014, so come and be part of this great festival and see what Jeffreys Bay has to offer. This is the place to be during the South African winter, as the weather is mild and the beaches are beautiful.
