Open the living room's seven-meter sliding door and the living area becomes an extension of the beach. The view from the house stretches from beyond Natures' Valley to the east to the Robberg Peninsula in the west. Enjoy the large pods of dolphins that frolic in the waves beneath the house on most days of the year.
The location is rated as one of the best in South Africa for whale watching during autumn, winter and spring (May through October). Far from the madding crowd, but only 3 minutes from an excellent supply of olive oil and fresh veggies and 7 minutes from Market Square Shopping Centre.
The house is located in the Keurbaai development, a 50-acre private estate 10km from Plettenberg Bay. The estate stretches from the high-water mark to the south, almost to the top of the small mountain north of the Keurbooms valley.
One of Keurbaai's eight privately owned houses, it is situated on the dune, directly overlooking Keurboomstrand, a near deserted and magnificent 10km stretch of beach. A timber walkway leads from the houses directly onto the beach. Keurbaai is best suited to those who prefer peace, quiet and serenity to the hustle and bustle of Plett's frenetic social scene. If you need extra accommodation, the loft and part of the very large living area could easily be converted into two extra bedrooms, making a total of 5!
