Dear Reader,

Will South Africa follow the downturn in the property industry that Europe is currently experiencing? The answer is NO according to James Wilson, property development director of Cape Town-based AMDEC. "Pessimists who believe the South Africa residential property market will follow the now almost universally predicted European and United Kingdom downward trend for the next year and see decreases in the value of their homes are almost certainly wrong" - Real Estate News South Africa

The new embassy of Republic of South Africa in Sofia has opened doors on Wednesday.

Hoisting of South African and Bulgarian national flags marked the opening of the new ultra modern building, situated in the Platinum Business Centre.

"I am extremely happy that we settled in such ultra modern and in the same time such exquisitely cosy building", said Gerhard Visser, acting ambassador to Bulgaria.

The atmosphere of our new home combines the authentic architecture style of old Sofia and a most modern design, Visser said.

The business building is situated on Bacho Kiro Str. 26-30, in the heart of Sofia, and is close to almost all important government, finance and culture institutions.

The project was funded by Bulgaria Platinum Group, investing in the real estate development in Bulgaria.
