Dear Reader,
THE City of Joburg Property Company, the property arm of the City
of Johannesburg, will launch a public proposal call on 24 March
2005 for more than R400m worth of new development in Soweto. This
project is called the "Orlando Ekhay project" and will
include retail, entertainment and educational facilities, as well
as parks and is for sure a development to keep an eye on.
Many new homebuyers are confused by the difference between occupation
and possession of their property - and by the provisions in a sale
agreement for the payment of occupational rent.
David Rogers, MD of Homenet, gives his explanation in Five Star
Home Buyer's Advice from Homenet
Land cost will not come down! Building costs will not come down!
Sanitary ware, light fittings, tiles and cement will not come down!
Now is the time to buy...This is what one of our agencies, Jan
Minnie of Valley Estates shares with you the reader in his newsletter.
This week www.places.co.za takes us to one of the coldest places
in south Africa. Near the Drakensberg escarpment and 210km east
of Pretoria, is where you will find Belfast. The wattle and bluegum
plantations are the oldest in Mpumalanga. Read more in Focus on.
Enjoy!
CyberProp greetings!
