Amdec gear up for increased cape expansion
In anticipation of the imminent launch of several new developments, Amdec, the property development, investment and project management company, has expanded its Cape sales team from two to seven. Amdec currently manages national property developments with a market value in excess of R4,5 billion.

“Contrary to general public’s perception,” says Cape Sales Manager David Norris, “Amdec is not focusing only on Gauteng. Although Amdec’s expansion in Gauteng has been substantial, growth in the Cape is progressing at a similar rate.”

Among Cape projects now approaching their launch phase are:

  • a R100 million retirement village in Muizenberg, a follow-up to the highly successful Fisherman’s Village;
  • the R110 million development of houses on 36 plots at the award winning Lake Michelle in Noordhoek;
  • the R100 million office development in Century City, The Quadrant;
  • the R200 million Tyger Falls waterfront office development in Tygerberg.

“These developments,” says Norris, “are the forerunners of other projects planned for Amdec in the upcoming year. 2008 will see us very busy at the Cape.”
