New Centurion security estate selling well
Swift sales are occurring at the recently launched Eldo Lakes Estate in Centurion.
So says Sarah Nel, manager of leading local agency Homenet/ Harcourts VWB which has the sole mandate to sell a section of the estate as well as a few of the open stands. Upon completion the estate will contain about 115 sectional title homes and 43 stands, and more than 60 units have already been sold.
Located on either side of Campbell Road in Eldoraigne, Eldo Lakes Estate is strategically situated within easy reach of the CBD of Centurion, Midrand and Johannesburg.
The estate is intersected by the Hennops River and focus has been placed on creating a park-like setting complete with indigenous landscaping, greenbelts, river frontage and walkways. A clubhouse will also be built for residents use.
The estate offers both sectional title and freehold options that range across the price spectrum. Eldo Gardens and Eldo Acres are situated on the north-eastern side of the estate and consist of affordable one, two and three-bedroom apartments measuring between 50sqm and 130sqm.
Garage and carport options are also available; bathroom finishes are stylish and kitchens feature built-in cupboards. Prices range between R498 000 and R1,2m. All these units are now ready for occupation and if all goes according to plan, Eldo Court, Eldo Ridge and Eldo Mews will be constructed within the next year.
In addition to the apartments, six pristine river frontage stands measuring between 750sqm and 1 200sqm have now been made available in the River View section of the estate. These stands were previously only available on a plot and plan basis. Buyers can now obtain one of these stands for between R950 000 and R1,2m. Approved building plans are available free of charge and feature two and three bedroom options along with double garages. Owners can choose from a variety of finishes and upgrade options.
In addition, three smaller stands measuring between 450sqm and 520sqm have been made available in the Hennops View node of Eldo Lakes adjacent to the entrance gate. Prices here start at R450 000. Buyers can also obtain the building plans for free if they wish to utilise them.
According to Nel, property values at the estate have increased significantly since its inception three years ago and new buyers will almost certainly realise sizeable returns within a few short years.
Security is a primary concern throughout the estate. A 2,2m high perimeter wall topped with electric fencing has been constructed. The entire estate has also been divided into zones to better detect intrusions and fast-track response time. All entry and exit points are closely monitored and CCTV cameras have been placed at the Hennops River junctions.
