A young Pretoria girl will soon be able to flash a bright smile thanks to the generosity of the Aida estate agency in Boksburg.

Aida Boksburg has sponsored much needed orthodontics to the tune of R13 000 through Radio Jacaranda’s Good Morning Angels programme for 12-year old Rochelle Barnard of Pretoria.

The money was raised during the office’s blood donation campaign that forms part of the Aida group’s nationwide drive to support the SA National Blood Service.

“We fully support the campaign to increase blood supplies needed for trauma patients and people who depend on regular transfusions,” says Denver Ramnath of Aida Boksburg. “We held a blood drive at the end of last year and used the opportunity to involve our local business community and loyal clients.

“We turned the day into a fun event with entertainment for young children and also raised funds for charity through generaous sponsors and by selling boerewors rolls and refreshments,” he says.

The office decided to donate the funds raised through the Good Morning Angels programme that is aired weekly on Radio Jacaranda. “Rochelle‘s plight came to our attention,” says Ramnath. “We like to put a smile on the faces of our clients by offering outstanding service – and we like to think of our small contribution to ensure a brighter smile for young Rochelle as a token of our commitment to give something back to the communities where Aida has a footprint.”
