Chance to win a Century 21 franchise
CENTURY 21 South Africa, the local arm of the worlds biggest property group, is shaking up the real estate industry with news that it is to award three 10-year Elite Century 21 franchises - worth R200 000 apiece to the winners of an open competition.
The competition is aimed at strong independent principals, exceptional agents and smaller brands.
Difficult market conditions call for innovative solutions and we believe the Golden Opportunity competition will make a difference in the industry, says Colleen Gray, MD of CENTURY 21 South Africa.
There are many deserving agencies and agents out there who have the know-how, the business savvy and the acumen to grow their businesses. Moreover, they are keen to become part of a global brand and they fully perceive the benefits of a strong referral network, training, marketing and management support.
However, taking advantage of the opportunity to acquire this calibre of franchise support requires capital and thats a scarce commodity right now. Yet paradoxically, now is the time to lay the foundations for the next property upturn and we see these gratis franchises as the ideal vehicles to do so.
She says the competition is in keeping with the CENTURY 21 ethos, premised on giving back something to the property industry, which has led the company to also undertake sponsorships of industry trade associations, participate in charity events and help to enhance industry standards.
Entrants in the Golden Opportunity competition will be judged according to a number of criteria. But essentially we are offering a career development opportunity to the agent and/or principal who can most convincingly state why they should be the recipient of such an endowment, says Gray.
We believe it is a groundbreaking event in an industry that needs to be kick-started.
Full details and the terms and conditions of the competition have been posted on the CENTURY 21 website at: www.century21.co.za. The competition closes on 31 May.
