Theatre of Ideas: Live your best life at home – inside and outside. A stellar line-up of chefs and party gurus join Aidan, Janez and the bubbly Jeannie D in the designer kitchen by SMEG and The Cupboard People. With NMC Exquisite cookware and Cuisipro cooking tools at their finger tips they whip up delicious party titbits. International Pavilions: Spot the global trends and stay connected. The new international Pavilion will put the spotlight on global trends, and give visitors the opportunity to network with international suppliers and share valuable industry information:

Italian Pavilion: La dolce vita…a celebration of true Italian style. The inaugural pavilion in Hall 3, organised by Consorzio Nuovi Mercati, a consortium of Federlegno-Arredo (the Italian Federation of wood, furniture and furnishing manufacturers) represents a selection of Italian companies showcasing the finest in Italian furniture and furnishings for corporate, office and residential spaces. In the spirit of “Project Africa 2008”, this initiative has been developed to promote Italian Furniture and the “Made in Italy” brand name throughout South Africa.

Indonesian Pavilion: Cultures and design influences from across the globe meet up at the show. The Indonesian Pavilion showcases furniture and design with the flavour of South-East Asia.

In sevens heaven: Jacaranda FM DJs turn decorator teaming up with design experts to create heavenly bedrooms. Visitors voting for their favourite bedroom can win furniture worth R25 000 from sevens, the divine designer-furniture store.
