Bitcoin is the currency of the Internet: a distributed, worldwide, decentralized digital money. Unlike traditional currencies such as dollars, bitcoins are issued and managed without any central authority whatsoever. Local real estate agency Devler Estates trading as Chas Everitt in the False Bay and Southern Suburbs is the first real estate company in South Africa to announce that it will accept payments in the digital currency Bitcoin as from 1st June 2016.
